How to write a cv

The most important part of your application for any position is your CV.

It is your sales tool, and needs to emphasise your suitability for the role. Whether you are shortlisted for interview is dependent on your CV, so it needs to give you an edge over your competitors. Our consultants are always willing to give professional advice on your CV and its contents.

Look at the job

What job are you going for? You need to target your CV for the role you wish to be considered for i.e. highlight your experience and qualities relevant to that job.

Style

Keep it simple, don’t use flowery language. Note / bullet form is fine, in fact it’s preferred by Consultants and employers who have to sift through lots of CVs.
